Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information PrinterToner collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to customers in the United States and Canada.
Who we are
Our website address is https://printertoner.us. We sell compatible, remanufactured, and related printing products to customers in the United States and Canada.
If you have any question about this policy or about the information we hold on you, email sales@printertoner.us.
What information we collect
When you place an order
We collect the details needed to process and deliver it: your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, and the contents of your order. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment provider, Stripe & Paypal, and are not stored on our servers.
When you create an account
We store the personal information you enter in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete that information at any time, apart from your username. Site administrators can also see and edit it.
When you leave a comment
We collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, which help us detect spam. An anonymised string derived from your email address, called a hash, may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it; the Gravatar privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible next to it.
When you upload an image
Please avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors can download images from the site and extract that data.

Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images, or articles. Embedded content from another website behaves exactly as though you had visited that website directly.
Those websites may collect data about you, set their own cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor how you interact with the embedded content – including tracking that interaction if you have an account with them and are signed in.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can ask us for an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including anything you have given us. You can also ask us to erase that data.
Erasure does not extend to data we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons – order and tax records, for example.
To make a request, email sales@printertoner.us from the address associated with your account or order.
